PHOTO RELEASE: Voices of Peace hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Canada in Maple.

On November 23rd, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, attended the Voices for Peace event hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Canada at Tahir Hall in Maple. MPP Lecce joined leaders from several religious communities as the representative of the Government of Ontario.

“Christians, Muslims, Jews, Sikhs, Hindus and others came together in an appeal to our common humanity to urge Canadians to stand against a rising tide of hate,” said MPP Lecce. “I’m incredibly grateful to my Ahmadiyya Muslim friends for showing leadership, fostering dialogue, and embracing civility and democracy at Voices for Peace.”
