PHOTO RELEASE: MPP Lecce Speaks at Valle Peligna Socio-Cultural Association Luncheon

On January 28th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined local dignitaries at a luncheon hosted by the Valle Peligna Socio-Cultural Association in Vaughan. MPP Lecce delivered remarks to the group, which brings together Italian-Canadian members of the community whose roots can be traced back to the Abruzzo region in Italy.

“Italian-Canadians, including Abruzzese-Italians, came to this country, worked hard, made great sacrifices, and contributed immensely to Ontario’s culture, and economic prosperity,” said MPP Lecce. “As the son of immigrants to Canada, and a proud son of Italy myself, I thank the Valle Peligna Socio-Cultural Association for celebrating our Italian heritage, and I thank its members for helping to make King and Vaughan even better places to live, work and raise a family.”
