PHOTO RELEASE: MPP Lecce Speaks at Grand Gala of Canadian Tamils

On April 28th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined MPPs Vijay Thanigasalam, Logan Kanapathi, Raymond Cho, David Smith, and Aris Babikian, as well as members of the GTA’s Tamil community to attend a gala organized by the National Council of Canadian Tamils (NCCT). MPP Lecce delivered remarks and interacted with many guests.

“Tamil-Canadians came to our country fleeing persecution in Sri Lanka in search of freedom, democracy, and a better life for their children. Their resilience strengthens our community," said MPP Lecce. "I am grateful to the Tamil-Canadian community for welcoming me to this incredible gala and for sharing their stories.”
