On April 17th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined members of the Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests (LEAF), and King families to plant 500 trees in Budweth Park in Nobleton. MPP Lecce interacted with local participants.
“It's rewarding to see King students and families planting hundreds of trees and shrubs at the late Alf Budweth Park, as the community came together to leave a living legacy in his name,” said MPP Lecce. “We thank Nobleton families for giving back while enjoying the outdoors and helping to expand King Township’s urban forest.”
