PHOTO RELEASE: Celebrating Sukkot

On October 6th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, visited Rabbi Bakshi and his family in the Rabbi’s personal Sukkah to mark the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. MPP Lecce also saw the Lulav and Etrog, a traditional willow plant and citron fruit pair that is symbolic of the holiday.

“Sukkot is a joyous occasion for Jewish-Canadians, and it was a pleasure for me to learn more about its cultural and traditional significance,” said MPP Lecce. “Thank you to Rabbi Bakshi and his family for the kind invitation to take part in their Sukkot celebration. Chag Sameach!”
