MPP Lecce Recognizes Black Leaders at Black History Event

On February 1, Stephen Lecce, MPP for KingVaughan, attended the City of Vaughan's Black History Month event that showcased local Black leaders and authors. 

 

"We celebrated the launch of Black History Month in Vaughan with leaders like CP24's Bakari Savage and Anchor Canada President, Shernett Martin," said MPP Lecce. "I always reflect of the inspiring story of trailblazer Lincoln Alexander, who said: 'It is not your duty to be average. It is your duty to set a higher example for others to follow.'"
