MPP Lecce Marks Opening of CIBPA Place in Maple

On March 10, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, local officials and the teams at CHATS and UniversalCare for the official opening of CIBPA Place, York Region's first and only residential respite dementia care centre. MPP Lecce was one of the largest supporters of Strides for Seniors, a charity run organized by UniversalCare that raised money for CIBPA Place. 


"Joined by visionary leaders, we officially opened CIBPA Place in Maple, York Region's first residential respite home for adults living with dementia," said MPP Lecce. "This cause is personal to me. Dementia has touched so many families in our community, with 10 more diagnoses this hour alone. Proud to leave a legacy together with UniversalCare, CHATS, and Mayor Del Duca."
