On February 5th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, joined community members to celebrate the 15th anniversary of UniversalCare, an organization specializing in high-quality senior living and care. MPP Lecce has worked closely with UniversalCare over the years, including in the construction and delivery of the St. Rita of Marylake Long-term Care Home in King City and by supporting their Strides for Seniors fundraising run every year since his election in 2018. Also in attendance was Ontario's Minister of Long-Term Care, Natalia Kusendova.
"We celebrated 15 years of care, dedication, and impact for the seniors in our lives that we love so much," said MPP Lecce. "It was special to join my friend and colleague Minister Kusendova to congratulate UniversalCare on 15 years of excellence in our community. In partnership with King and Universal Cares, I look forward to opening the St. Rita of Marylake Long-term Care Home in King City next year."
