MPP Lecce Joins Premier Ford and Canada's Iranian Community at Massive Freedom Rally for Iran

On February 14, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, joined Premier Doug Ford and Michael Parsa, MPP for Aurora—Oak Ridges—Richmond Hill, at a massive freedom rally in Willowdale as part of the Global Day of Action for Iran. Reports estimate nearly 500,000 people attended the rally and Walk for Freedom down Yonge Street. 

"Hundreds of thousands of peaceful Canadians gathered with one unmistakable message to Iran's murderous regime: freedom will prevail," said MPP Lecce. "I was proud to join Premier Ford and Minister Parsa at one of the largest demonstrations in Canadian history in support of a free and democratic Iran."
