PHOTO RELEASE: Tết Trung Thu - Vietnamese community Mid-Autumn Festival

On October 8th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined members of North York’s Vietnamese community for a Tết Trung Thu, or Mid-Autumn Festival event at the Oakdale Community Centre in North York. MPP Lecce interacted with parents and children, and even handed out traditional Vietnamese lanterns to mark the festival.
“Vietnamese Canadians worked hard, and helped build our province after they fled communist tyranny in Vietnam. They are an integral part of Ontario’s success,” said MPP Lecce. “I wish all Vietnamese Canadians a very happy Tết Trung Thu!”
