On February 25th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, delivered remarks at the Centro Scuola-Amo gala in Vaughan. Centro Scuola is an organization that is dedicated to teaching the Italian language, heritage and culture to the next generation, and several distinguished individuals received awards at the gala, including Sam Ciccolini, community leader and Member of the Order of Canada.
“As a proud son of Italian immigrants, I’m pleased to honour the incredible work of Centro Sculola-Amo in preserving Vaughan’s Italian heritage and language,” said MPP Lecce. “I remain fully committed to promoting and protecting heritage languages across our province."
