On September 10th Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined Robin Martin, MPP for Eglinton-Lawrence, along with local seniors and community members for a Tomato Sauce-Making Festival at the Columbus Centre in North York.
“Italian-Canadians worked hard, sacrificed, and made incredible contributions to the growth and development of our province,” said MPP Lecce. “One of those contributions was bringing delicious Italian cuisine to Ontario’s restaurants and dinner tables. As an individual of Italian descent, I am proud of our traditions of making tomato sauce from the freshest and finest ingredients.”
