On June 26th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined sports teams from across Canada and around the world, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, and members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Vaughan who came together to compete in the Ahmadiyya International Games in Vaughan.
“It’s an honour for me to join this first-of-its-kind, large-scale sports tournament for Canadian youth hosted here in Vaughan,” said MPP Lecce. “Our government strongly supports healthier lifestyles for young people in Ontario, including sports and physical activities, so I thank the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association and the Ahmadiyya Muslim community for promoting team work, competition, and healthy lifestyles."
