On July 13, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, joined the Armenian community at the annual Summer Festival hosted by the Armenian Community Centre of Toronto. He was joined by Aris Babikian, MPP for Scarborough—Agincourt and the first Armenian MPP elected in Ontario's history.

"The greatest legacy our immigrant families can leave with the next generation is the preservation of one's heritage, language, and culture," said MPP Lecce. "The Armenian-Canadian community embraces this value system each and every day. I'm always proud to join the community at the Armenian Community Centre of Toronto's Summer Festival and extend a special thanks to my friend Aris Babikian — the first Armenian elected in Ontario history — for his leadership and warm welcome."
