MPP Lecce Celebrates Nowruz with Local Persian Community

On March 14th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, attended a Nowruz celebration alongside Premier Doug Ford hosted by colleague Michael Parsa, MPP for Aurora—Oak Ridges—Richmond Hill.
"Many Iranian Canadians came to Canada to build a better life for their families and their kids—a country that proudly stood tall as a beacon of freedom, democracy, human rights, and the rule of law," said MPP Lecce. "Tonight, we honoured their bravery and sacrifice by celebrating Nowruz and the arrival of Spring—and took a moment to appreciate how blessed we are to live in such an amazing country. Nowruz Pirooz!"
