Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, has made several visits to welcome students back to class and also see first hand the infrastructure and ventilation improvements being made across the community. MPP Lecce also promoted recent investments in local schools to support a safer return to in-class learning. Dr. Moore, Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, referred to Ontario’s plan as “world-class” with comprehensive layers of protection in place.

“Our priority is to ensure the safe return of our students to class and to keep them in class learning. We are following the best expert medical advice by ensuring all schools have improved air ventilation, including the deployment of 70,000 HEPA units and other ventilation devices,” said Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan. “We have invested 3.7 million in ventilation and school safety upgrades in King and Vaughan, supporting safer schools designed to minimize disruption and maximize safety”.
