On June 1st, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, proudly co-hosted an Italian Heritage Month celebration at Queen’s Park with fellow MPPs, community leaders and the next generation of Italian-Canadian trailblazers.
“Italian Heritage Month means a great deal to me, and I am proud to showcase some of King and Vaughan’s very best today, including music from the incredibly talented Bruno Monardo, and a delicious lunch catered by Josie Dorio, the owner of Dorio’s Kettleby Italian Bakery,” said Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan.
“As the son of Italian immigrants to Canada, I always reflect upon the hard work and many sacrifices made by New Canadians that helped my generation to succeed. I am forever grateful.”
